Expect More than a Home Inspection...
Our Services
With Orange Blossom Home Inspection, LLC services you will receive an unbiased visual home inspection. The home will be assessed from roof to foundation to identify safety issues and describe the current conditions on the property.
A 2000 sq ft inspection takes about 2-3 hours onsite. You can anticipate 1-2 hours per additional 1000 square feet. 25 year old homes and additional services may also add extra time. We take 400-500 pictures. We encourage you to allow time to attend at least the final portion of the home inspection. This allows us to walk through the home with you, point out findings and explain elements of the report. We will walk you step-by-step through significant findings.
After the inspection, you will receive an easy-to-read, thorough report within 24 hours for your records. Your report will include photos, videos and thermal imaging. We will include an addition summary report with only the defects to help you easily identify the larger issues and forward to any third party as deemed necessary.
Our home inspections include many of the services that other companies break down into their "packages". These amount to hidden costs that raise your bottom line pricing. It is our goal to always to give you a fair and honest home inspection without hidden costs. Below you will find what our home inspections include with true transparency.
Fact:
Every home should be inspected every year. A home inspection should be a part of a homeowners routine home inspection maintenance plan. Why?
Out of the 130 million homes in the United States:
* 30 million have deficient heating, plumbing, or electrical systems;
* 12 million have problems with water leaks;
* 4 million have experience more problems within the last year; and
* 7 million have serious damage to the roof.
None of these housing problems were discovered until there was a home inspection.
If you recently purchased a 10-year-old home, it's likely that your home has many deficiencies simply because building codes have greatly improved since then. For example, let's say you've purchased a brand-new home in Orlando in 2013 that was built according to code. Back then, the requirement for ceiling insulation was R-38 and four framed wall insulation, R-16. Today, in 2017, the requirements are R-49 and R-20. That's roughly a 25% efficiency in the amount of insulation.
Existing houses that are at least 15 years old are likely to have major defects in their systems simply due to when and where they were built.

"I'm the seller, and it was my home that was inspected for the buyer. Orange Blossom Home Inspection (John), spent 3&1/2 hours inspecting our home. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough with his inspection. Taking time out not only to explain items found to the buyer, but also to the seller. If I were buying a home, this is the person that I would want inspecting it."

Consumer's Guide to Infrared ThermographyWhat Matters In A Home Inspection..."I must say that from the moment I picked up the phone to a call for an inspection to be done and spoke to Johns wife Amy I already knew I would be using them. Amy was so pleasant to talk to. She was able to get me an appointment that very same week. As for John and the inspection itself wow is all I can say."
